BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Sources say a woman has died after being shot in the head Wednesday morning, in a building at ECMC.
The shooting happened around 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Miller Building on the ECMC campus. Crews are searching for the shooter.

ECMC is in lockdown, Buffalo SWAT and Homeland Security are on the scene. Nearby school Lydia T. Wright School is also on lockdown for safety purposes.
News 4 has spoken with Sergio Martinez, who says he has heard from his wife who is inside ECMC. She told him she cannot use her phone, but has said she is OK through text messages, Wednesday morning.
